Organization *facepalm*

Friday, March 25, 2016

Hello! It's Rin Here! Guys, I'm about to tell you a secret. I've been trying to hide this for a long time, but here I go.

I'm an organization freak. Shhhh! Don't tell anybody! ;)

....This isn't actually a secret. Not in the least bit, but this post is about my obsession with organization and what I do to "try" to stay on top of things. There will be numbers and listing and all that jazz! *jazz hands*

Sticky Notes

I still silently cringe when people ask me about sticky notes. They're sticky notes. I use them for everything. When I say everything, I mean everything. I write sticky notes for every event I have to go to, every piece of homework that is assigned to me (especially for science). I have sticky notes on my white board with my monthly Tbrs. Sticky notes with html color codes. I have sticky notes on my bookshelf reminding me what I haven't read. Though, this wasn't really necessary, but it was fun to do regardless.

Task Lists, Calendar Printables

I can not even stress how much task lists and calendar printables save my life and they look sooo cute too!  There is a new printable for every month, the design is adorable. This set also comes with daily planners, weekly planners, assignments planners, and other organization helpers that make me happy!

The calendars look like this:

A White Board

I keep track of how behind I am on TV shows and *cough* commenting by writing it down on a white board. I even have a color code for everything.

Light green: Tbr
Purple: TV shows I'm behind on (None right now. I'm actually on track!)
Orange: Current Date
Blue: Random Music Things... *whistles* If you know what it means, comment below! :D

Google Calendars

I take advantage of Google calendars. It's really easy to keep track of whatever I have to do, because Google Calendars fights off my inner laziness. I use it for both bookish related things and personal things I have to do (aka anything in red).

tell me: what do you do to try and organize everything?

  1. I'm a weird person I guess. I love using post it and planners and organize my tags on tumblr, shelves on goodreads, and folders on my laptop. But in real life I'm pretty disorganized. I keep losing my stuffs and forgetting my homework XD So I don't know... I like to organize but not for everything.
